Comprehensive technical support, moderation, and operational management of a dynamically growing bicycle store on the Shopify platform.
ivelo.pl is a modern, premium e-commerce platform for the cycling industry. My role combined technical maintenance of the Shopify platform with active operational management, team coordination, business process optimization, and overseeing the implementation of new functionalities.
- Product Management: Planning and implementing new technical solutions in the store, coordinating integration with external systems (ERP/WMS, couriers), and ensuring optimal information architecture.
- Business Process Optimization: Analyzing bottlenecks in the order fulfillment chain and implementing system improvements that shortened transaction processing times.
Working in a live, high-volume e-commerce environment required a combination of technical skills and leadership competencies. As a manager, I had to manage the task backlog on a daily basis, eliminate technical and human blockers, and make quick decisions under time pressure (e.g., during large sales campaigns). This role allowed me to develop the key qualities of a leader and Scrum Master: empathy, a focus on conflict resolution, transparent communication, and an agile response to dynamically changing business needs.
